FAQ
Q. What is a Mind Map?
A. A Mind Map is a graphical tool that utilises both sides of the brain. We give full credit and acknowledgment to Tony Buzan, the inventor of Mind Maps. There are many examples of Mind Maps; that are not really Mind Maps. We try to obey his Mind Map Principles as far as possible.
Q. Why is there sometimes a Registered Trademark symbol after Mind Maps?
A. The term Mind Map is actually a registered trademark of the Buzan Corporation, but for use under certain circumstances and only in Canada and the US.
From Wikipedia:
The use of the term “Mind Maps” is claimed as a trademark by The Buzan Organisation, Ltd. in the United Kingdom[8] and the United States.[9] The trademark does not appear in the records of the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.[10] In the US “Mind Maps” is trademarked as a “service mark” expressly for “EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, NAMELY, CONDUCTING COURSES IN SELF-IMPROVEMENT” — other products and services are not covered by the trademark.

Q. Why are you called YourTutor?
A. To answer this, we used the Collins Dictionary definition of a tutor: “A Teacher, usually instructing individuals and often engaged privately.” We believe that we can tutor you along the path of better achievement with our services and products.
Q. Do you teach how to Mind Map?
A. We can, and sometimes do, but we find that supplying ready to use Mind Maps has more benefits for our customers as Mind Mapping is not always that easy to do, despite all the claims to the contrary. We have introduced the concept of a Mind Map Tutor that is unique to us, to help you learn faster with less effort.
